43 Years of Female Choreographers

March is Women's History Month but for NYTB / ChamberWorks (also known as New York Theatre Ballet) every DAY of their 43 YEARS in business has been a space for women in the arts--starting with founder Diana Byer. NYTB has been making history! The current repertoire is loaded with outstanding and TIMELY work by choreographers who happen to be female. Scroll down to see some samples.

Now that it looks like America is opening for live performances NYTB proposes to tour in 2021 - 2022 with a small cast program that includes live music.

Imagine the intimacy of chamber ballet on your stage. Can you envision splendid ballet with live music (both provided by the company)?

Below is an example of a mixed rep program. Click on the photos to explore these thrilling contemporary ballets with live music offerings.

We think that Mother Goose, the school-time offering, is especially timely given young America's revived interest in poetry thanks to Amanda Gorman. What do you think?
