APAP|NYC is the world's premier gathering of the performing arts presenting, booking and touring industry, and the annual members conference of the Association of Performing Arts Professionals. Join us January 8th-12th, 2021 for a dynamic online convening!
Red Shell Mgmt is proud to participate in the 2021 APAP/NYC virtual conference. Sort of like an astrological event, the “shadow time” of the conference begins on January 6. The official conference begins on January 8 and lasts until January 12—but important events in the performing arts sector, linked to the conference, will continue for days after.
What an experience it will be, too! There will be a Red Shell Mgmt booth—open for visits and consultations. Artistic attractions on the Red Shell banner will be featured in online showcases—they will consist of a mixture of recorded content plus live interaction with the artists. Below you will see the descriptions and dates and times of the live showcases. The links to replay recordings of these showcases, just in case a viewer could not join the group for the initial showing, will be available until January 30, 2021.
APAP’s daily pitch session on Friday, January 8 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm will include a pitch from Edward Schoelwer. The main focus of the pitch is Collage Dance Collective’s Rise Project—a community engagement project that uses the art of ballet to educate and inspire inquiry into the life of Martin Luther King, Jr and the history of the American Civil Rights Movement.
The following is a list of showcases. All times posted are in the Eastern Time Zone.
